 presents M I S E R E R E directed by antonello matarazzo / original score by fabrizio castania Montpellier 2005: The Experimental section This year 20 films have been retained among 127 received for the "experimental" section. Twenty films which will allow us both to explore talents from the Mediterranean and to make an incursion into "new fields": plastic, visual and sound for which the artists cleared the way. To that effect we must highlight the presence of "long" works such as "Insomniac City" and "Miserere" way above regular formal exercices and which reach, by their pictural, "narrative" and symphonic ambition, an impressive strength. Twenty works with which Montpeller brings its contribution to enhance this "other" cinema, as seen and practiced by the Mediterranean artists.
